We'll pay a visit to the Univserity of Copenhagen's Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences on its Frederiksberg Campus to hear Søren Saxmose Nielsen, Professor and Veterinary Epidemiologist from Copenhagen University, present "From Bernhard Bang to Bird Flu: A story of animal health, human health and European cooperation." His presentation focuses on the connection between human and animal food safety and epidemiology. Søren is the Chair of Animal Health and Welfare Panel, European Food Safety Authority. The presentation is based on her experience as Head of Marketing & Communication at Go Nordic Cruiseline, where she led the marketing, brand and communication aspects of the transition following the sale of the Copenhagen–Oslo route from DFDS. |

Line Hjort PhD, Assistant Professor at The Centre for Translational Medicine and Parasitology in the deparment of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Copenhagen, will share her research in child and pregnancy studies in Tanzania.
Line's research focuses on determinants of cardiometabolic disease to improve prevention and treatment, and she especially focuses on vulnerable and understudied populations, where research is lacking.
